We are now taking lamb deposits for spring lambs. The way it works is that a $50 (totally refundable) deposit will hold a place in the lamb selection line. I evaluate lambs in late June or July after they have had a few months to grow and develop the sale list at that time. I have a lot more information about each ewe/ram/lamb and their extended family so please give me a call if you have questions. Of course, each shepherd has different needs and each sheep has their own strengths. I’d be more than happy to help find individuals who are a good fit for your farm. For example, no matter how well-built, a wild sheep that really doesn’t like people wouldn’t be a good candidate for a child’s first 4H project. Email me at firstname.lastname@example.org OR email@example.com OR firstname.lastname@example.org or call me at (518) 882-9341 and I can answer questions or you can arrange a visit. If I do not answer your Email within a day, please call because I may not have seen it!
